Getting your order to you
Lenash Road Signs is Johannesburg-based and serves customers across Gauteng. You can have an order delivered, arrange collection, or combine supply with installation. This page explains the options and what to check when your order arrives.
Delivery
We arrange delivery of signs, posts, cones, barriers and other products to your site or business address. The cost and timing depend on what you order and where it is going.
- Delivery fee:
- Delivery times:
- Areas outside Gauteng:
We do not promise a delivery time that we have not confirmed with you. For custom-made signs, production happens before delivery and the date depends on artwork approval. When you order, we will tell you what to expect for your order.
What affects delivery
- Size and weight. Large signs, posts, water-filled barriers and speed bumps need suitable transport.
- Quantity. Large orders may be sent in more than one load.
- Location and access. Gated estates, building sites and secure premises may have access rules.
- Stock. Orders are subject to stock availability, as set out in our terms and conditions.
Collection
If you prefer to collect, tell us when you order. We do not publish a street address on this website, so we will give you the collection details once your order is confirmed. Please do not travel to collect before we have confirmed that your order is ready.
Bring your order number and the name the order was placed under. If someone else is collecting for you, let us know their name in advance.
Payment on delivery or collection
Terms are strictly COD (cash on delivery) unless a credit application has been approved by our accounts department. This means payment is due when the goods are delivered or collected. See our terms and conditions.
Installation instead of delivery
If you want us to fit your signs, ask for installation when you request a quote or book a site survey. Delivery is then arranged as part of the job.
Checking your order when it arrives
- Check the number of packages or items against your delivery note.
- Look for visible damage to signs, posts, packaging and accessories before the driver leaves, and note any damage on the delivery note.
- Check sign codes, sizes and materials against your order.
- Photograph any problem and contact us promptly.
The steps for damaged, wrong or defective goods are on the returns and refunds page.
Preparing a site for delivery
Make sure someone is on site to receive the goods and sign for them. Tell us about gate times, security procedures and where the goods can be off-loaded. If you are receiving heavy items, mention whether there is off-loading equipment.
Public road signs
Delivery does not mean a sign may be installed on a public road. For public roads, confirm requirements and permissions with the relevant road authority or municipality before installing.
