These terms are a draft and must be reviewed by a legal adviser before they are relied on. Bracketed items are placeholders.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to quotations, orders and sales made through lenashsigns.co.za and by phone or email. Lenash Road Signs is a trading name of Road Signage Africa, a BoldMedia Group company.
By placing an order or accepting a quotation, you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our delivery and collection, returns and refunds and privacy and cookie pages.
2. Quotations
This quotation is valid for 30 days from the above date except for material price increases and is subject to the availability of stock, sight of final artwork and standard terms and conditions of PIFSA. All artwork supplied must be in a recognised graphics format. All fonts must be included and images must be CMYK. Any artwork changes to correct problems or additional proofs will be charged for. Terms are strictly COD unless a credit application has been approved by our accounts department.
3. Payment: cash on delivery
- Terms are strictly COD (cash on delivery) unless a credit application has been approved by our accounts department.
- COD means payment is due when goods are delivered or collected.
- Credit is available only after a credit application is approved. Approval is at our discretion.
- Goods remain our property until paid for in full.
4. Prices and VAT
Prices are in South African rand. Prices may change before an order is accepted. Quotations are subject to the validity and price-increase terms in clause 2.
5. Orders and acceptance
An order is accepted when we confirm it. We may decline an order, for example where stock is unavailable or the details are unclear. Please check sign codes, sizes, materials, quantities and options before you confirm. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us.
6. Artwork and custom products
- Artwork must be supplied in a recognised graphics format, with all fonts included and images in CMYK.
- We need to see final artwork before production.
- Artwork changes to correct problems, and additional proofs, are charged for.
- You are responsible for the wording, spelling and content you approve, and for having the right to use any logos, images or text you supply.
- Custom-made items cannot be returned for change of mind. See returns and refunds.
7. Stock and availability
All orders are subject to stock availability. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you to agree an alternative, a delay or a cancellation of that item.
8. Delivery, collection and risk
Delivery and collection are described on the delivery and collection page. Timeframes given are estimates unless we confirm otherwise in writing. Check goods on receipt and report visible damage promptly.
9. Installation and services
Installation, site surveys, road marking and maintenance are quoted separately. You must give safe access to the site and tell us about hazards, services and restrictions. Where site conditions differ from those described, the quotation may change.
10. Public roads and compliance
We refer to the South African Road Traffic Signs Manual (SARTSM) sign codes to help you order. We do not state that any product is approved, certified or legal for use on a public road. You are responsible for confirming requirements and permissions with the relevant road authority or municipality, and for deciding that a product is suitable for your use before installing it.
11. Returns and defects
Returns, refunds and defects are dealt with under our returns and refunds page.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from incorrect information, artwork or specifications supplied by you, or from incorrect installation not carried out by us. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other law.
13. Cancellation
Orders for standard stock may be cancelled before dispatch by agreement. Custom orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
14. Personal information
We handle personal information as set out in our privacy and cookie policy.
15. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when your order is accepted applies to that order.
