When high visibility matters
Choose a reflective sign wherever vehicles move in the dark or in low light: unlit estate roads, farm and mine routes, yards that run night shifts, long driveways, and work zones that stay active after sunset. A plain printed sign may look fine in the shop but fade into the background once the sun goes down.
How to choose
Reflective or standard?
If your road has no street lighting, or if the sign guards a danger such as a stop line or a sharp bend, go reflective. For well-lit indoor areas, a standard sign may be enough and costs less to produce.
Size
Reflectivity helps visibility but does not replace size. Faster approach speeds still call for 900 mm and larger.
Substrate
Reflective Chromadek is rigid and well suited to fixed positions. Aluminium substrate gives a flat, durable face. Match the choice to how long the sign will stay and how exposed it is.
Mounting
Fix signs to poles with unistruts, or use a stand for temporary positions. See signposts and mounting hardware.
